Medical Campaigns and Free Health Days Program

The Medical Campaigns and Free Health Days Program is one of the core initiatives implemented by the National Woman Healthcare Center, aiming to deliver healthcare services to the most vulnerable populations across various governorates of Jordan—particularly in remote areas and refugee camps.

The program responds to the growing healthcare needs in underserved areas that suffer from limited medical services and high rates of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. It provides free medical services, including examinations, treatments, health education, medicine distribution, and disease prevention awareness.

Program Objectives:

Provide comprehensive healthcare and free field-based medical checkups.

Organize awareness workshops on common diseases and prevention methods.

Improve public health and reduce the health burden on vulnerable populations.

Build effective partnerships with local communities and healthcare stakeholders.

Distribute essential medications and ensure continuity of care.

Partnerships:

The Center implements this program in collaboration with local and international partners, most notably:

Arab Medical Relief Society – for organizing field medical days.

Tafilah Governorate and local stakeholders – to deliver multi-specialty health services.

United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) – through mobile clinics offering reproductive health services in 7 governorates.

Over the past years, the program has reached more than 1 million beneficiaries, with medications and medical supplies worth over 1 million Jordanian Dinars distributed. Additionally, over 23,000 women have benefited from reproductive health services provided through the mobile clinics.
