About The Center

About the Center

The National Woman Healthcare Center was established as a Hashemite initiative to provide Jordanian women with the highest standards of professional and compassionate healthcare. The Center achieves this through the establishment of specialized clinics, mobile medical units, home visits, and outreach to adolescent girls in schools—tailored to individual needs and locations.

Guided by the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Aisha Bint Al Hussein, the Center has been instrumental in advancing women’s health services across all age groups and backgrounds in Jordan. This has included the development of integrated, model healthcare centers that are designed to be women-friendly, providing care that understands and meets women's unique needs.

The Women-Friendly Health Centers initiative was launched as a national project with a comprehensive and visionary approach. It aims to create a positive, transformative shift in women’s health services at both the national and regional levels. This is achieved through cross-sectoral collaboration, the implementation of clearly defined standards and best practices, and the preparation of selected primary and comprehensive health centers to serve as pioneering, cost-effective, women-friendly models.
