Chairperson's Message
The Hashemite family—under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein—have always upheld a strong tradition of supporting and welcoming every national effort that propels Jordan forward across all sectors, especially those that empower Jordanian women in every role and aspect of their lives.
I had the honor of serving in the ranks of the esteemed Jordanian Armed Forces for over 29 years, side by side with outstanding female officers and personnel from across the Arab Army and Royal Air Force. These women exemplified courage, professionalism, dedication, and deep love for their country—regardless of their roles or responsibilities.
It was from this foundation that several initiatives and efforts were launched to
support and empower the health of women in the military. These efforts later expanded to serve all women and girls across our beloved Jordan—without exception.
Advancing the healthcare sector and achieving comprehensive, specialized care for Jordanian women requires a solid foundation that supports all development goals. This includes empowering women physically, socially, and mentally so they can remain active contributors alongside their male partners. Such progress demands a holistic vision, institutional coordination grounded in knowledge and science, and constructive engagement with all decision-makers and stakeholders.
The establishment of the National Woman Healthcare Center was, therefore, a natural step—created to support and complement the healthcare system by ensuring the provision of high-quality health, psychological, and social services for women of all ages and backgrounds, based on the highest standards of quality and public safety.
